What goes into freshly cooked dog food?
That depends on the recipe and manufacturer.
Monty’s meals use ingredients including grass-fed beef and lamb, high-welfare poultry, sustainably sourced fish and fresh vegetables.
They’re prepared and cooked in our kitchen on a working farm near Stourhead in the Wiltshire countryside.
Once cooked, the meals are frozen and delivered to your door.
Is freshly cooked food complete?
It can be — but don’t assume that because something looks fresh and wholesome it provides everything your dog needs.
If a freshly cooked food is going to form your dog’s main diet, look for one that is described as complete.
Monty’s complete meals are formulated to provide the nutrients dogs need as part of a balanced everyday diet.
How do you feed it?
Keep your Monty’s meals in the freezer and defrost them as you need them.
They can be served cold or gently warmed.
If your dog is new to freshly cooked food, we generally recommend introducing it gradually alongside their existing food.
