Getting your Monty’s meals to you safely and in great condition is really important to us.
Your meals are frozen before leaving us and carefully packed in insulated temperature-controlled packaging designed to keep them cold throughout their journey.
How are my Monty’s meals packed?
Your meals are packed in a strong cardboard delivery box with an insulated liner and ice packs to help maintain the temperature during delivery.
The packaging has been specifically designed and tested for transporting chilled and frozen food across the UK.
What if my meals have thawed during delivery?
Depending on the journey and the weather, your meals may arrive frozen, partially thawed or fully thawed.
This is perfectly normal.
Even if your Monty’s meals have thawed during their journey, they’re perfectly fine to put straight into your freezer when they arrive.
Is the packaging recyclable?
The cardboard delivery box is fully recyclable.
The insulated liner should be disposed of or recycled in accordance with your local council’s guidelines.
We’re continually looking at ways to reduce our packaging and make our deliveries as environmentally responsible as possible.
What should I do with the ice packs?
You can either re-use them, defrost them, cut the bag open and pour the non-toxic solution down the drain using hot water to dissolve the gel. Do not dispose of the contents in a septic tank.
